PAPI, a family story

Four generations and two families have shaped PAPI, from a terracotta figurine workshop to outdoor furniture made from 100% recycled HDPE.

1904 Gilbert PAPI established his first workshop in L’Isle-Adam, in the Val-d’Oise region, producing advertising figurines as well as terracotta and plaster statuettes for churches.

1950 Johnnie Walker and Pierrot Gourmand, among others… The production of iconic advertising figures helped establish PAPI’s success both in France and internationally.

1993 PAPI entered a new chapter. Acquired by the FEREY family, the company developed the PAPI brand in the landscaping sector, with a complete range of planters and window boxes designed for local authorities.

2005 Creation of the DECO round planter and expansion of the freestanding planter range.

2010 Creation of our recycling process, enabling production using 100% recycled and recyclable materials.
